Reaching The Finish Line

 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today were back with the continuation of my commercial. As I mentioned before I will be giving a brief meaning of the 3 videos I picked for the commercial. The first video I chose is a video of Owen, Jenny and Myself. We were on the way to my best friends John's birthday party on the beach. It was perfect because I love the beach and got to go celebrate someone I love. I wanted to add a video that I took from the Future concert because it signifies that I really enjoy concerts. I feel like it shows something I enjoy to do on my free time and a great way to spend time with my friends. For my third video I've decided to add a video that I have of my best friends Nancy, John, and myself from Johns Digital camera. We were at this pizza place hanging out and the digital camera made the moment a little bit more special. The time has come guys today i'm making my final decision on what song I will have in my commercial. My main option was "Skyline To" By Frank Ocean but i've recently added "White Ferrari" By Frank Ocean as an option. But after listening to both of them thoroughly I feel like the second option's beat is too slow and making the mood on the sadder side. That was just not the vibe I was trying to achieve during my commercial. So, "Skyline To" is the song i'm going to be choosing. Im thinking of starting the song at one minute and 40 seconds and letting it play throughout the commercial. I've also came to the conclusion that I do want to add transitions throughout the commercial. I feel like it creates a smoother balance between the videos and pictures. Which will be more appealing to the audiences eye. Well guys tune in for the next blog where all my details come together and create my wonderful commercial. See you next time Michi nation!

Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today we decided to practice some angles and shots for our video. We all went to Owen's place first. My group mate checked that all the props were in their proper places once we arrived. Rose would be the one recording Owen and I during scenes that didn't involve her. Rose then went through her scenes several times. Before we started recording, she did a few practice runs. We're recording our scenes as a test run so they can all be examined later. Before formally creating and editing them together, Rose will be examining her media to see if anything needs to be improved or fixed. We then went on to film our first scene, which had Owen and me coming up with the idea. We were all a little apprehensive for the first scene and were laughing, so Rose had to record this several times. For three more sequences, we continued laughing.
