Production blog: Narrowing Down Our Plans

 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! My group and I are still trying to figure out our exact recording schedule for the upcoming week. Monday after school we will mostly likely be filming, however we are still unsure about Tuesday. Rose and Owen can film Tuesday but I might have plans that day so i'm unsure if I will be to attend. For one of the scenes in our music video there will be an insert of two kids playing around. This goes with the lyrics "we'll never be those kids again", meaning we will need a boy and a girl to be playing around at the beach in order to obtain this scene. Rose found two kids we can use for this scene. Being her step sister and her best friends brother. Due to certain circumstances we would only be able to film this scene on Tuesday since both the kids wouldn't have school just like us. So, my group decided that if I couldn't attend for certain reasons they would still go film that scene. This is because I wouldn't be needed in the scene and we could check that scene off the list. During the music video I will be wearing a beach dress since our music video will take place at the beach and downtown Las Olas. However, I don't have a beach dress so I need to look for one appropriate for the music video that can come on time. I was thinking white for the color of the dress but I still have to discuss that with my group mates. There shouldn't be any difficulty filming our other scenes as the props being used are simple. We have to find a place to eat on the beach for one of our scenes. Filming in a public eating area means we must ask prior if they allow filming. This will help the prevention of problems with the restaurant and potentially being kicked out. My group and I have been doing very good at narrowing down our plans and coming up with a solid plan. I like that we have a bond which allow us to be more open and honest about ideas and suggestions we may have. I feel like we can all simply come up with a solution that includes all of us and doesn't leave anyone out. Thats it for todays blog Michi nation, until next time!
