Back With My Group

Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! In todays blog I am going to be re-introducing my group for my music video project! My group consists of three people, Rose, Owen, and myself. Rose and Owen are my two dearest friends in my AICE media studies class. I've known Owen for a while now, I met him last year in our Algebra two class. Ever since then we have been inseparable and have created a great friendship. I'm super glad I was able to be in a class with Owen once again this year. I've also known Rose for quite a while. I met her in 2021 through a mutual friend named Camila. Rose and I instantly clicked and remained good friends since. I decided to be in a group with both Owen and Rose because I know they are scholars and will complete their parts on time. Knowing Rose and Owen personally I know we will achieve a organized and great-looking project. To be honest I personally think those two are one of the few people in my class willing to do their work and take it seriously. I hope ya'll are just as excited as me to see us work together once again! Initially, we had settled on the horror genre. With so much variation within a genre, it was difficult to draw conclusions. In addition, we had to plan out the sequence of our film and the sequences we would perform. We also had to keep in mind that some of the genres were difficult to define in two minutes. My group independently saw several shorts from each genre to determine which could be demonstrated the quickest. We quickly disregarded some of the genres as options as they weren't actually one but rather were combined into others. We decided that we all enjoy horror and thrillers after discussing our favorites. Both were meaningful and offered the possibility of a lovely sequin and tale, which is why we liked them. Ultimately, after much discussion, we decided that going with dread would pique viewers' curiosity and interest right away. We will undoubtedly have a fantastic movie and a great time because I have worked with them before. Thats it for this blog, until next time Michi nation!

Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today we decided to practice some angles and shots for our video. We all went to Owen's place first. My group mate checked that all the props were in their proper places once we arrived. Rose would be the one recording Owen and I during scenes that didn't involve her. Rose then went through her scenes several times. Before we started recording, she did a few practice runs. We're recording our scenes as a test run so they can all be examined later. Before formally creating and editing them together, Rose will be examining her media to see if anything needs to be improved or fixed. We then went on to film our first scene, which had Owen and me coming up with the idea. We were all a little apprehensive for the first scene and were laughing, so Rose had to record this several times. For three more sequences, we continued laughing.
