A Setback in Our Music Video

 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! My group and I have not started our filming process yet. This weekend our schedules didn't align as we all had different plans. Owen was in Texas, while Rose and I had plans with our friends that were planed months ago. I have come to the realization that filming during the weekend isn't going to work for my group. Being so that all of us are so busy during those two days. So, as a group we have collectively decided to film after school. I hope to start our filming process next week after school, preferably on Monday. We can try to film at most 3 days out of the week and see how much we can get done. But of course we will have to see if we are able to film that many days out of the week because something could potentially come up interfering with these plans. As for the music video itself I am very excited to see how it turns out. Mainly because I love our song choice which is "Ivy" By Frank Ocean. This song is very meaningful to me which makes me even more excited to start creating our own interpretation of the song. I feel like the music video will show the audience what the song means to us and how we see it. I will be one of the main people in the film, so I will be doing less background work. However, I still want to be a major part in helping put the video together. This way I can advance my skills in editing and sound because I feel like I lack skills in this area. I feel like Owens skills are the best in this area out of the three of us. So he will most likely be in charge of the category with our help of course. Our story-line is based around a teenage break up and the experience of the situation. You guys will hear all about the production along the way. So make sure to stay tuned for more insight.  Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today I put my commercial together on Cap Cut, the app mentioned in the first vlog. I started off by adding all the pictures and videos I picked prior when planning my commercial out. Now it was time to get the timing right, which definitely takes time. I was stuck in between having the videos or pictures longer. But then I realized that one of my videos was 3 seconds max. To resolve my issue I decided to make the 3 videos different lengths and keep all the pictures the same length. It might seem like it would look weird but trust me it looks fine. Back to my song I picked "Skyline To" by Frank Ocean as you may know. I really love this song to me this song has a very deep meaning. To me this song is signifying to enjoy and value our moments of joy because time will continue forward no matter what. Which sticks to me because i'm a strong believer that happy moments in life are something you should enjoy to the fullest....

As I mentioned before I will be giving a brief meaning of the 3 videos I picked for the commercial. The first video I chose is a video of Owen, Jenny and Myself. We were on the way to my best friends John's birthday party on the beach. It was perfect because I love the beach and got to go celebrate someone I love. I wanted to add a video that I took from the Future concert because it signifies that I really enjoy concerts. I feel like it shows something I enjoy to do on my free time and a great way to spend time with my friends. For my third video I've decided to add a video that I have of my best friends Nancy, John, and myself from Johns Digital camera. Reflecting on My Commercial

 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Todays blog will consist of me reflecting on my first project; the commercial about myself. During this project I learned how to use the editing app Cap Cut. This is one of the few apps you can use to edit videos together, while adding audio and transitions. I had always heard about Cap Cut and seen other using it to create videos. But I never had my own first hand experience using it. I learned how to add different transitions between pictures and videos to give the final result a better look. From this experience I also learned how to extract audio from a video to add it on to my own. I simply picked a video from my camera roll with the audio I wanted incorporated into my commercial. Then it transferred the audio on to the new video I was creating. I found that super interesting because I had never even thought about doing that.
