 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today I put my commercial together on Cap Cut, the app mentioned in the first vlog. I started off by adding all the pictures and videos I picked prior when planning my commercial out. Now it was time to get the timing right, which definitely takes time. I was stuck in between having the videos or pictures longer. But then I realized that one of my videos was 3 seconds max. To resolve my issue I decided to make the 3 videos different lengths and keep all the pictures the same length. It might seem like it would look weird but trust me it looks fine. Back to my song I picked "Skyline To" by Frank Ocean as you may know. I really love this song to me this song has a very deep meaning. To me this song is signifying to enjoy and value our moments of joy because time will continue forward no matter what. Which sticks to me because i'm a strong believer that happy moments in life are something you should enjoy to the fullest....

 Hey Michi nation, welcome back to your favorite blog! Today were back with the continuation of my commercial. As I mentioned before I will be giving a brief meaning of the 3 videos I picked for the commercial. The first video I chose is a video of Owen, Jenny and Myself. We were on the way to my best friends John's birthday party on the beach. It was perfect because I love the beach and got to go celebrate someone I love. I wanted to add a video that I took from the Future concert because it signifies that I really enjoy concerts. I feel like it shows something I enjoy to do on my free time and a great way to spend time with my friends. For my third video I've decided to add a video that I have of my best friends Nancy, John, and myself from Johns Digital camera. We were at this pizza place hanging out and the digital camera made the moment a little bit more special. How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? Since R&B is one of the most popular genres in my generation, my conventions were adopted in the finished work. My own taste of music was also taken into consideration for my conventions. From my research prior to the music video I watched the "Sweater Weather" Music video and took inspiration from the shots they included during the film. This led me to include shots like zoom ins, tracking shots, and establishing shots in my own music video. To provide an air of adventure, I used sets, costumes, and props in my music video. I used these components, which I derived from my earlier research, to present a complex message, giving each scene a distinct meaning through the use of costumes and props.
